Jaguar is offering the option of all-wheel drive on the XF and XJ sedans for 2013 models, and adds supercharged four- and six-cylinder engines to the XF. Also, all automatic XF and XJ sedans will use a new eight-speed transmission from German supplier ZF, as Jaguar looks to boost the fuel economy of its vehicles. Powertrains get the most significant changes for Jaguar in the 2013 model year.
A host of luxury and performance cars went under the hammer at the BCA Blackbushe Top Car Auction this week, including a McLaren MP4-12C and a nearly-new Jaguar F-Type. BCA said, "the high-end prestige and sports car market has a strong following with buyers and we have seen lots of interest in high value vehicles during 2013, with bidders prepared to invest six-figure sums for the right vehicle." A couple of weeks ago we had a Citroen C3 in for review, and were actually rather impressed with what was on offer. True, it doesn’t offer the most dynamic drive in the world, but unless you are after a small car to chuck around with great abandon the comfort on offer in the C3 more than makes up for it. The particular car we had – the Citroen C3 1.4 VTi Exclusive – is the top of the trim tree in the C3 range, offering a lot of toys – such as the Visio panoramic roof, Climate and all-round electric windows – as standard.
